About
Kuuda Care Home's main building is a two-storey stone house, fully renovated and extended in 2012.
Building and rooms
- Comfortable single and double rooms on the 2nd floor, two with balconies.
- Rooms for 2–4 people on the 1st floor, mainly for residents who need nursing care.
- A lift allows wheelchair users to move between floors.
- Dining rooms on both floors, showers on the 2nd floor, washrooms and sauna on the 1st floor.
- The home accommodates up to 54 residents.
Safety
- Care staff and supervision 24 hours a day.
- Nurse call in every room, automatic fire alarm, video surveillance.
- Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
Care
- Every permanent resident has a family doctor and a personal care plan.
- We choose roommates with character and special needs in mind, so people get along and feel at home.
Everyday life
- Conversation circles about current events, reading aloud, handicrafts and celebrations.
- On request: trips to the theatre, cemetery, church, home village or beauty salon.
- The local pastor visits residents regularly.
- Radio headphones for bedridden residents, and celebrations reach their rooms too — cake, sweets, Santa.

Mission and vision
We offer residents a rural living environment, personal service and good modern conditions. We aim to be a preferred and distinctive care home in Estonia and neighbouring countries.
